What is Ridlme?

Ridlme is a paid message platform. You pay to send a message to an expert or personality you'd love to hear from, and they get paid to reply. If they don't reply, you pay nothing (more in our Terms). You can pay to message, get paid to reply, or do both from the same account.

Who is Ridlme for?

Coaches, therapists, chefs, influencers, athletes, musicians, authors, stars — anyone with an audience — and the people who want a real answer from them. Ridlme isn't a marketplace or a social network: it doesn't find you followers, it turns the audience you already have into paid chats.

Can I sell adult content on Ridlme?

No — adult content is never allowed on Ridlme. No sexual content or nudity anywhere: not in messages, photos, videos or on your profile. Everything sent is screened automatically, and we act on accounts that break this rule — up to permanent removal. If adult content is what you sell, Ridlme isn't the platform for it. How do I get paid to reply?

Create a public profile, set your price, and share your link. In Settings → Public Profiles, pick a username — your page becomes ridlme.com/yourname — set your price per message, then connect payouts via Stripe in Settings → Payouts. Set yourself to Available, share your link with your audience, and get paid to reply.

How will people find my profile?

Through the link you share — Ridlme doesn't send you an audience. There's no directory to browse: your messages come from the audience you already have — share ridlme.com/yourname on your socials, in your bio, wherever your people are. The more you share your link, the more messages arrive.

What cut does Ridlme take?

Ridlme takes a 20% platform fee on each paid message. If your price is £10, you receive £8 and Ridlme keeps £2 — the fee simply comes out of what you earn. You set the price, so you always know exactly what you'll receive. Full details in our Terms.

When do I get paid?

As soon as you complete a chat, the payment — minus the 20% fee — appears in the Stripe payout account you connected. Stripe then pays out your balance to your bank once a week. You're responsible for any tax on what you earn. Details in our Terms.

Do I have to reply to every message?

No — you decide what you take on. Every message gives you a choice: Send (reply and keep the chat open), Send & Decline (reply without charging the sender, and lock the chat), or Send & Complete (reply, lock the chat and get paid). You can also go Away, and unanswered messages simply expire after 7 days. Details in our Terms.

Can I get paid in my country?

You can get paid to reply if you live in one of the countries supported by Stripe, our payment provider — including the UK, US, most of Europe and many more. The list is set by Stripe and can change over time; you'll find the full list in our Terms.

How much does it cost?

It depends who you message — everyone sets their own price per message, and it's shown right on their profile ("Replies for £10"). You only ever pay per message, and you're only charged if they reply — the total is shown before you confirm. See our Terms for the details.

What happens if they don't reply?

You pay nothing. If there's no reply within 7 days, the order simply expires and the hold on your payment is released automatically — nothing to chase, nothing to cancel. Your bank may take a few working days to show the released hold. Details in our Terms.

How do I find someone to message?

Through their link — experts and personalities share their own Ridlme link with their audience, so you'll usually arrive straight on their profile. There's no directory to browse: if someone you follow is on Ridlme, the link they share is the way in. Open it, write your message and send.

What can I send — and what do I get back?

Text, photos, audio or video — up to 1,000 characters of text per message. What you get back is a real reply in the chat: the person you message manages it, whether that's a single reply or a longer back-and-forth. And if a reply never comes, you don't pay.

Do I need to download the app?

No — everything starts on the website. You can write your message straight from someone's profile page, and you'll create an account when you send it so they can reply to you privately. There's also a Ridlme app for iOS and Android for keeping up with your chats.

When am I actually charged?

Only when the person replies and completes your chat. At checkout the amount is authorised on your payment method — held, not taken. If they decline, or don't reply within 7 days, the hold is released and you're not charged. Details in our Terms.

Can I get a refund?

Once a reply has arrived, payment is normally final — but if something's wrong, we'll look at it. If a reply breaks our rules, isn't a genuine reply at all, or we've made a mistake, email help@ridlme.com within 14 days. Talk to us before your bank — bank disputes can pause your account. Is my payment safe?

Yes — payments are handled by Stripe, a secure platform trusted by millions worldwide. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe collects it directly. Your money is only taken when the person replies and completes your chat. If anything looks wrong, email help@ridlme.com and we'll review it. Details in our Terms.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes — payouts are handled by Stripe, which collects your bank details and identity information directly, with bank-level encryption. Ridlme never sees or stores your bank details, and we never sell your data. More in our Privacy Policy.

Can anyone read my messages?

Your chats are private between the people in them — we don't read your messages. Everything sent is screened automatically, so problems can be picked up without anyone reading your chats; a person only sees a message if it's reported, or the law requires it. What's not allowed on Ridlme?

There's no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Ridlme. That covers sexual content, harassment, hate speech and anything unlawful. Everything sent is screened automatically, you can report any message or profile — reports of objectionable content are reviewed within 24 hours — and you can block anyone.
